Refund Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

In short

  • Cancel online any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Monthly plans: full refund of your first monthly payment if you ask within 7 days of it.
  • Annual plans: full refund of any annual charge, new or renewal, if you ask within 14 days of it.
  • Billing mistakes are always refunded.

We do not sell paid plans yet. When we do, this policy applies to subscriptions that individuals buy on advancedfootballstats.com for their own use. A free account costs nothing and needs no card. Businesses, teams, schools and other organizations that buy under an order form or agreement follow the refund terms in that document instead. All prices are in US dollars (USD).

Cancelling

Go to Account → Manage subscription → Cancel at any time, or email admin@advancedfootballstats.com from the address on your account with the subject "Cancel". An emailed cancellation takes effect when we receive it, even if we reply later. We email you to confirm.

Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. If you cancel during a free trial, you are never charged.

When we refund

Which window applies depends on your billing period. Only one applies to any charge.

  • Monthly plans, first payment: ask within 7 days of your first monthly payment and we refund that payment in full. If you started with a free trial, your first payment is the first charge after the trial ends. Later monthly renewals are not refunded, except as listed below.
  • Annual plans, any annual charge: ask within 14 days of an annual charge, whether it is a new subscription or a renewal, and we refund that charge in full.
  • Price increases: if you are charged a new, higher price and cancel within 14 days of that charge, we refund the unused part of that period.
  • Billing errors: duplicate charges, charges after you cancelled, and charges for the wrong amount are refunded in full, whenever you notice them.
  • Our outage: if paid features are unavailable for more than 72 hours in a row because of a problem on our side, we credit the affected days to your next bill or, if you prefer, refund them. We work out the amount day by day: your plan's price for the period, divided by the days in that period, times the days affected.
  • If we end your plan for any reason other than a breach of our Terms of Service, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for. If we end your account because you broke the Terms, we do not refund the current period.

A refund covers the charge you ask about. Switching plans (for example, monthly to annual) does not start a new refund window for the earlier plan. Outside these cases, partly used periods are not refunded; cancelling stops the next charge. Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, we honor it.

What happens to your access

When we refund a charge in full, or refund the unused part of a period, your subscription is cancelled and paid access ends when we issue the refund. Your account stays open as a free account. A billing-error refund does not end access you have properly paid for, and an outage credit or refund does not end your subscription.

How to ask for a refund

Email admin@advancedfootballstats.com from the address on your account and include the date and amount of the charge. We usually reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Disputes

Charges appear on your card statement under a name that identifies Advanced Football Stats; your purchase confirmation email shows the exact wording. If a charge looks wrong, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A refund through us is usually faster.

If you do open a dispute, we will share with your bank or card network, as their rules allow, the records of your purchase, your agreement to the subscription terms, your use of the paid features and any cancellation request. We may pause paid access while the dispute is open.
