Each offense and defense is rated on how its drives end (scores, stalls and turnovers), adjusted for opponents and game situation.
Games played out
Those ratings drive a drive-by-drive simulation of each game, run 2,000 times.

Every team plays a league-average opponent; the power rankings sort teams by how often they win.
